A famous architectural masterpiece by Sir Christopher Wren which should be at the top of any London sightseeing list.
St Pauls is a sprawling cathedral, notable for its artistry and design, which also offers a fascinating glimpse at England’s religious history. The Whispering Gallery, the crypt, the treasury and the chapels surrounding the main transepts are fascinating sights, as is the ‘who’s who’ of those buried there.
St Pauls also offers one of the best views of the Thames and the London skyline from its dome. You will need to climb 530 narrow steps to get there though.
